Green It Up Landscaping
Upcycling organic by-products into compost.
Anchor 1
Coffee plays a central part in a lot of cultures right across the world. It is thus also one of the most consumed beverages on earth. An estimated 3.5 billion cups of coffee are consumed across the globe every day. Roasted coffee beans that are used for brewing coffee are thus a single use, disposable product which means that huge amounts of "waste"are being produced as a by-product through our global coffee-loving culture. By collecting used coffee grounds from the local coffee shops and restaurants, I can only upcycle a small amount of this "waste" into healthy organic compost. Other single use products which I also collect includes newspapers and cardboard boxes which is a great source of carbon in the compost making process.
